About Princess Poo-Poo Books

I began writing children's books after being lucky enough to become a grand mum. I have two beautiful grand daughters Lucy and Bonnie and they are my inspiration to write and illustrate.

My first book Princess Poo-Poo was created one night while I was putting Lucy to bed. Lucy and I created a funny story about a Princess called Poo-Poo who lived in Poo-Pooville. 

We made the story up as we went along, adding anything we could think of starting with the letter P.

After that night, I sat down and brought Princess Poo-Poo to life and that is how Princess Poo-Poo & Pat the Pony came to be.

Since then, I have written other books in the series with the common theme of friends helping one another and solving problems together. 

The writing concept involves concentrating on the development of the storyline and characters with a common letter. So thet number of books in the series is really endless.

I love to illustrate and create characters with fun, humour and a bit of silliness, to be enjoyed not only by the reader but also for any mum or dad who love reading a bed time story to their children.

Princess Poo-Poo & Pat the Pony is the first book in the Princess Poo-Poo series and is about Princess Poo-Poo and Pat the Pony  learning that friends can solve problems together. The book concentrates on the letter P.

Sweet Ciana & Sally the Snail is the second book in the Princess Poo-Poo series. Sweet Ciana and her friend Sally the Snail find a sweet way to solve sadness. The book concentrates on the letter S

Betty Big Bum & Bonnie the Bunny the third book in the Princess Poo-Poo series. Betty Big Bum and her friend Bonnie the Bunny use their brave hearts to show Billy how it is better to be friendly than be a bully. The book concentrates on the letter B
